Zeitgeist Avatars are not fundamentally different from Myths, and can be combated directly, though they often wield powers linked to their benefactor. Their main threat is immense influence and control over the mortal world, calling political and religious groups, activists, fans, and the machinery of society in a way that most Myths could only dream of. They may often hold positions of power in structures that are beholden to the Zeitgeist they represent, being religious leaders, academic thinkers, politicians, or business owners. This legitimacy is what gives them the control they have over the human world.
